Sandra Antunes (MSc Student 2015-2016)

Career Track

2014-present: MSc in Biomedical Sciences, University of Beira Interior, Covilhã, Portugal

2011-2014: BS in Biomedical Sciences, University of Beira Interior, Covilhã, Portugal

Research Interests

Sandra Antunes finished her academic degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Beira Interior (UBI) in 2014. This degree combines different fields of knowledge, namely engineering, biology and chemistry. Actually, she is in the last year of her MSc in Biomedical Sciences at the same University, under the supervision of Dr. Liliana Bernardino. She is conducting her master thesis in the neuroscience field, evaluating the therapeutic potential of histamine in a neuroinflammatory context.
